Public transport
Airport by public bus
You can take ALS company ( orange colour ) leave every hour going directly to Binjai about 2 hours ( 40K IDR/person) and take samll yellow public bus to Tanah lapang ( bus station to Bukit lawang 10K IDR/person ) last bus from Binjai to Bukit lawang at 18.00 Pm ( 30K IDR/person ) about 2 hours you will arrive in Bukit lawang . Make your reservation for accommodation and tour and we will pick you up after arrival at the bus stop in Bukit Lawang and accompany you to your guest house.
Hotel by public bus
You can take taxi to Pinang Baris station you booking taxi from hotel or you can bargain directly to taxi driver from pinang baris to Bukit lawang ( 50K IDR/person ) about 3 hours to Bukit lawang bus station. Make your reservation for accommodation and tour and we will pick you up after arrival at the bus stop in Bukit Lawang and accompany you to your guest house.
BEWARE.ย At Pinang baris station or Binjai bus station western tourist very often experience unpleasant situation with locals. When someone asks for money saying they would buy a ticket for you – just ignore them – they will charge you up to 200K IDR/person extra. Just purchase the ticket directly from the driver.
