Description

The length of the island, north to south, over eighteen days. Three days trekking and two nights camping in Gunung Leuser, the Karo highlands and a volcano at sunrise, two nights on Samosir in Lake Toba, then south through the Minangkabau country of West Sumatra to Bukittinggi and the Harau Valley, and finally the boat out to the Mentawai Islands for three nights with a family who live there.

Couldn’t recommend more! We had an amazing 4N/3D Jungle Trekking with our guides Zidan & Irgi and it was amazing. SJT really made the most of our trip to Gunung Leuser: everything is taken care of from A to Z. We were lucky enough to see plenty of wildlife as well.
